“ One of the best Yemeni food in Michigan.Portion size is huge.We ordered lamb haneeth & beef gallaba with hummus,lentil soup & flat Yemeni bread.Everything was delicious except the rice,it was a bit undercooked.But the lamb was very well seasoned & tender.Price was reasonable compared to huge quantities.Only downside I would say is the parking. ”

Maybe I just wasn’t ordering the right stuff before, but my last visit I was blown away! We got the Yemeni bread with honey butter- I liked this much more than the plain Yemeni bread. We got the lamb haneeth and shish tawook entree and both were cooked perfectly, so tender and flavorful. The fries are double fried and so crispy. The Yemeni tea is addictive, you have to try it. I think their entrees as opposed to their sandwiches is where Yemen Cafe really shines, so I recommend sticking to that part of the menu. ”
